Inspired by The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan
Saidar (pronounced: sah-ih-DAHR) is the female half of the One Power. Female channelers can tell when other women are touching the Source; a white glowing aura appears around their body, only visible to those trained to touch saidar. Novices wear all white and must be supervised to keep them from hurting themselves with saidar. They are taught easy tasks like making balls of light until they learn to handle the One Power.
